Cory Peynado is a dating photographer born and raised in London. He has shot over a thousand dating profile sessions since 2019, helping clients get more matches on Hinge, Bumble, and Tinder.

What is dating profile photography?
Dating profile photography is a photoshoot designed specifically to create images for apps like Hinge, Bumble, and Tinder. Unlike generic portraits, the goal is authentic, natural feeling photos that show personality, not just a good likeness.

What happens during the shoot?
We meet at an agreed outdoor meet up point, (typically a station in the London area) then walk a few minutes to pre selected backdrops nearby. You'll bring a few outfit changes to vary the shots. The shoot itself takes 45 minutes to an hour. You get the final images the same day.
Will you help me with wardrobe?
Although you won’t be provided with clothing, you will get hints, tips and guides to what clothing accentuates the best looks for your photos.

Will you guide me through posing?
You won't be left to figure out poses alone, direction is given throughout, and there's no need to prepare or research posing beforehand.
Your photographer will give you full instructions and ideas on how to stand and how to move while you are getting photographed.
What if I feel awkward or self-conscious?
This is completely normal and expected, most clients haven't had a professional shoot before. Locations are chosen to minimise onlookers and Cory always makes a conscious effort to ease you into things rather than thrust you into the spotlight.
What locations do you shoot at?
We will typically meet at a station in the London area (Waterloo station etc). You’ll be informed long before your shoot of where we will meet.
How long until I get my photos?
As well as being shown the photos as they are taken, your photos will be fully delivered to you within 24 hours, via an secure online platform.

Can I change my outfit during the shoot?
Yes and in fact it gives you a ‘different day’ look with every top change. We’ll do this by mixing up your backdrops and locations every time you swap clothes.
What if it rains?
In some circumstances the shoot can continue but if it’s unrelenting and we are not able to obtain great photos we can rearrange the appointment at no extra cost.
What should I wear?
You’ll be fine wearing casual and comfortable clothes. This can mean different things for everybody but an informal approach usually works best. Once you have booked you will also be sent a full clothing tips guide which shares advice on some of the best clothing choices for your shoot.
Can I see the photos as they're taken?
Cory offers real time viewing of your photos as they are shot. This way you can share ideas or make adjustments based on your own preferences.
Do you offer payment plans or deposits?
Your £39 deposit model. Explicitly state this, it's a real friction reducer competitors don't mention.
Which dating apps do you shoot for?
Your new photo’s will work well on all dating apps. They are built with all the fundamental of portrait photography built in so you can use them for all kind of online profiling including social media, LinkedIn or personal projects.
Do you photograph men, women, or both?
All are welcome, there are no gender exclusions.
Is there an age limit or is this for a specific age group?
You need to be aged 18+
What areas of London do you cover?
We will be heading to one of a number of potential areas, most likely Waterloo or Hyde Park or Holland Park etc. You’ll be informed well in advance so you can plan your journey.
Can I bring a friend for support?
Absolutely, you can even discuss the possibility of doing multi shoots with friends, let us know what you're interested in and we’ll work it out.
Do you also offer headshots or personal branding photography, not just dating?
I don’t offer professional headshots but I we can certainly discuss a shoot that is more bespoke and more fitting to your needs.

Do you edit/retouch the photos, and how much?
This happens only if requested by you as an add-on to your existing package. Check out the full range of photoshoot packages and add-ons here.
How many photos do I get?
This depends on your package. Check the pricing page for full details but in most shoots you will receive around 100 photos approx.
These will never be lock behind an online gallery, you will receive everything.
Can I request specific locations?
Locations are always pre selected, sometimes alterations can be made but do get in touch first to let me Cory know what you’re interested in.
What if I've never done a photoshoot before?
This is the case with almost everyone, first few mins will be more guided, then as we move along you will learn to be more open. I can wait to show you the process.
